KLYV builds websites, apps, automations and custom software. This policy explains what this site collects, why, who it reaches, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form, plus two things recorded automatically with it:
- Name and email address, which are required to reply to you.
- Phone number and project type, which are optional.
- The message you write.
- Your IP address, stored so we can limit how many times the form is submitted from one place and keep it from being abused.
- The date and time of the submission.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, and nothing else. We do not sell this information, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
Sending the form stores it in our database and emails it to us. That involves providers acting on our behalf: database hosting, email delivery, and website hosting. We can name them on request.
How long we keep it
Up to 24 months from the day you write to us. Enquiries are sales conversations that can take a long time to come back, which is why the period is not shorter; after that we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used, in two ways:
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which set no cookies. Visitors are counted through a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and the data is aggregated rather than tied to a person.
- Google Analytics, which does set cookies and sends usage data to Google. It is not loaded at all unless you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, and rejecting is one click in the same place as accepting.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@klyv.dev and we will act on it.
